“One of the major topics we were asked about was Workers Compensation for employees and how that applies to sub-contracted workers (1099). We were happy to be on hand to help guide people through the complicated, yet very important landscape of insurance,” says Heath Groves, Account Executive with Program Insurance Group.

The convention, held in Orlando, Florida at the Caribe Royal Hotel and Convention Center, was about encouraging the Kitchen Solvers network of franchisees to share ideas and best practices, tapping into each other’s expertise.

Groves comments, “The convention provided a relaxing atmosphere for franchisees to catch up from previous conventions and for the vendors/sponsors able to mix and mingle with franchisees. There was a speed-dating type vendor show where franchisees had 20-25 minutes with each vendor/supplier to ask questions and continue to build the relationship. We enjoyed participating and answering questions.”

Groves concludes,” Since it was our first convention with Kitchen Solvers, it was a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to all the franchisees in attendance. It was invaluable to be able to sit down and visit with most of the franchisees, hear their story, and how business was going for them.”
